There was no triple-double this time for the Macau Black Bears, but that didn’t matter as long as the team keeps on winning and on Thursday, this formidable squad from East Asia continued to make its presence felt in The Asian Tournament at the City of Passi Arena in Iloilo.
Six players finished in double figures for the Black Bears, who displayed their balance firepower once more and dealt the Guangzhou Loong Lions a 100-82 beat down.
Two of the six who saw action for the Black Bears produced double-double performances — Senypathe Ndiaye and David Diaz.
Ndiaye came away with 14 points and 17 rebounds while Diaz submitted 10 markers on top of 10 boards.
Offensively, it was Xingzhao Chao, who took over for the Black Bears as he led the way with 22 points. Mcek Cole Alexander, Jonico Aaron Rosales and Brandon Matano all tallied 12 points for Macau, which hit a total of 15 three-point shots in the game.
