It may be a little too early to dismiss them, but the TNT Tropang 5G are now beginning to feel the pressure of winning.
Grand slam may not be even discussed now for the Tropang 5G as much focus should be given more on picking up their first victory as the team absorbed its second straight loss of the conference — a 94-100 loss to Converge.
The Tropang 5G found no solution containing the FiberXers’ twin towers of Ryan Arana and Justin Baltazar, who both came away with double-double games and provided their counterparts a double barrel headache inside the shaded lane.
Arana finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds while Baltazar ended up with 21 markers and 12 boards.
Now dropping to 0-2, the Tropang 5G are having a difficult time adjusting to their brand of game minus three-time PBA Best Import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who led the franchise to three championships.
