Nuggets wallop Clippers, advance to NBA playoffs second round

The Denver Nuggets preserved their best game for last in their first round playoff series with the Los Angeles Clippers.

On Sunday, the Nuggets drew double-digit productions from six players to turn back the Clippers in the no tomorrow Game 7 encounter, 120-101, at the Ball Arena in Denver.

Nikola Jokic flirted with a triple-double performance while Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun had a 20-point plus games as the Nuggets were able to eliminate the Clippers after seven grueling matches.

Jokic finished with 16 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out eight assists.

His frontcourt partner, Gordon, added 22 markers and distributed five assists while Braun added 21.

Jamal Murray and Russell Westbrook each tallied 16 markers and Michael Porter chipped in 15 for the Nuggets.
