Thunder come roaring back in Game 2, whip Nuggets to tie series

This time, the Oklahoma Thunder made sure they won’t squander the opportunity winning at home.

In fact, the Thunder did it in convincing fashion, giving the Denver Nuggets a sound beating, 149-106, on Thursday in Game 2 of their NBA playoffs at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

The Thunder’s easy win was made possible by their unselfishness in Game 2 where they completed 31 assists, 13 more than the Nuggets.

That resulted to seven players ending up in double figures with Chet Holmgren coming away with a double-double game of 15 points and 11 boards.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, however, reaffirmed his role as the team’s top gun, finishing with 34 points to go along with eight assists and four rebounds. He went perfect from the line, hitting all of his 11 shots and missed only two of 13 attempts from the field.

Jalen Williams contributed 17 points and seven assists Isiah Hertenstein and Isaiah Joe each had 14 markers, Luguentz Dort had 12 and Aaron Wiggins produced 10 in a display of balance firepower by the Thunder, who shot an amazing 56.2% from the field, 91.7% from the charity stripe and 44.4% from beyind the arc.
