All the Boston Celtics needed was a spark provided by one player coming off the bench and the confidence that they can still be able to pull it off despite losing the first two games.
The Celtics did that on the road, beating the New York Knicks, 115-93, in Game 3 of their playoff series Sunday at the Madison Square Garden.
Losing the home court advantage, but not their pride, the NBA champions picked themselves up from two disappointing losses in Boston as the Celtics found renewed strength provided by point guard Preyton Pritchard, who scored 23 points, including five three-point shots.
Jayson Tatum flirted with a near triple-double performance of 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists two go along with two steals while Jaylen Brown, Derrick White and Al Horford each made a key contribution, allowing the Celtics to keep their post season going.
