The Indiana Pacers played a much controlled basketball to outplay the error-prone Cleveland Cavaliers, 129-109, and moved a win away from advancing to the next round of the NBA Playoffs on Monday at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indiana.
Three players produced 20 points or more for the Pacers, led by a near perfect game from Pascal Siakam, who hit all but one of his 10 shots from the field as his steady game set the tone for Indiana.
Siakam was complemented by his frontcourt partner, Myles Turner, who ended up with 20 markers, the same output produced by Obi Toppin, a player who came off the bench and provided the extra spunk needed by the Pacers.
The Cavaliers turned the ball over 22 times, 12 more than the Pacers.
