Down to only six players as team captain Tyrell Corbin didn’t see action, the Vanta Black Dragons were still able to complete a dominant 92-47 victory over the Phuket Whales in The Asian Tournament on Saturday at the City of Passi Arena in Iloilo.
Just a few days after setting his most productive game of 59 points, Corbin missed the game against the Whales but that hardly had any effects for the Dragons.
The six pack of the Dragons were led by Hong Bo Qu and Adrian Partosa, who combined for 44 points, while Kareem Huntley and Julius Hannibal each came away with a double-double performance.
Huntley contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds while Hannibal submitted 14 points and 24 boards.
James Lin also had his share of a double-double showing, producing 11 points and dishing out 15 assists for the Dragons.
