Undermanned but not overpowered, the Falcons of Adamson went out of reach early then held steadier in the endgame to drub SERAPHS, 76-65, in the under-25 division of the National Sports Developmental League under-25 Basketball Series at the Metpark Sports Center on Wednesday.
Two players came away with double-double games led by Jonah Precious and former Batang Gilas player Kobe Demisana.
Precious pumped in 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while Demisana tallied 12 points on top of 10 boards as the front court duo did most of the damage against the defense of SERAPHS.
With Precious and Demisana in charge, the Falcons knocked in 50 points inside the shaded lane, which were 18 points better than their rivals.
Mahathir Edding also produced 16 markers and Gabe de Jesus had 10.
But Adamson’s defense also made its presence felt, holding SERAPHS to just 36% shooting from the field.
