Knicks score tough win on the road vs Celtics to take series opener

The New York Knicks completed a perfect conquering day for the visitors to kick off the start of their second round playoffs against the Boston Celtics.

On Tuesday, Jalen Bronson and the Knicks came to TD Garden in Boston and outlasted the Celtics, 108-105, in a rousing start for the underdog squad.

Bronson finished with 29 points, but the extraordinary effort in rebounding he displayed in several sequences of the game were images of resiliency for the Knicks, who proved that they’re no pushovers in this playoff series.

The Knicks clamped down on the Celtics, holding their rivals to just 35% shooting from the field.

OG Anunoby also came away with 29 markers, built around six three-point shots, while Josh Hart and Karl Anthony-Towns each produced 14 markers. Miles McBride added 11 markers in 19 minutes of play for the Knicks.
