Knicks stay alive, wallop Pacers in Game 5

Behind their rallying fans cheering them no end inside the Madison Square Garden, the New York Knicks played their best game in their playoff series against the Indiana Pacers and came up with an inspiring 111-94 win to keep their hopes alive in the Eastern Conference best-of-seven finals duel Thursday night (Friday morning).

Jalen Brunson rediscovered his shooting touch and finished the game with 32 points, including four three-point shots.

Karl Anthony-Towns ended up with a double-double performance of 24 points and 13 rebounds.

But the biggest story of the game was New York’s solid game plan in limiting the production of Tyrese Haliburton, who was held down to only eight markers.
