Pacers close out Knicks in 6, set up titular showdown with Thunder

The Indiana Pacers closed out their Eastern Conference finals series against the New York Knicks with authority, winning 125-108 in Game 6 on Saturday night (Sunday in Manila) at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis.

The Pacers are going to face the Oklahoma Thunder in the NBA best-of-seven championship series staring June 6.

Talking about preserving its best for last, Indiana drew double figures from seven players, including a double-double game from Tyrese Haliburton, who ended up with 21 points and 13 assists.

Offensively, it was Pascal Siakam who presided for the team once more as he led the way with 31 points.

Obi Toppin came off the bench and produced 18 markers, while Andrew Nembhard also came up with a solid, all-around performance of 14 points, eight assists and six steals.

Myles Turner and Thomas Bryant each produced 10 and Aaron Nesmith added 10 in a display of balance firepower for the Pacers, who shot a steady 54.1% from the field and 51.5% from beyond the arc.
