Randle, Edwards provide Wolves’ 1-2 punch in Game 4 win over Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are now on the brink of elimination as they found no answer to the Minnesota Timberwoves’ 1-2 punch of Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards, who gave them a double barrel headache in Game 4.

Randle produced 31 points while Edwards scattered 30 markers as the duo led the Timberwolves to a hard-earned 117-110 triumph over the Warriors right at Golden State’s territory at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

While Randle and Edwards were working double time offensively, Jaden McDaniels provided support with his extraordinary effort in getting the rebounds. McDaniels grabbed a total of 13 boards.

Playing without Steph Curry who was out due to a hamstring injury, the Warriors relied on Jonathan Kuminga, a player coming off the bench, who stepped up and scored 23 markers, but that wasn’t enough as Golden State has now found itself one loss away from getting booted out of their semifinals encounter with the Wolves.

The Warriors had lost three straight games in the playoffs since 2016 when they lost the championship series to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

For the Timberwolves, a second straight conference finals appearance is now within reach.
