Ray Parks kicks off Japan B. League Final Week with a youth cage camp

The highly anticipated Japan B.League Final Week in Manila 2025 officially kicked off at the Gateway Mall 2 – UGB Quantum Skyview on May 22, igniting the start of the four-day celebration of basketball greatness.

Day 1 delivered an electrifying start with the B.Hope ASIA Jr. Basketball Clinic, which saw young hoopers learn from the pros and embrace the spirit of the game. It was led by none other than Filipino basketball sensation and Osaka Evessa star Bobby Ray Parks Jr, and under the expert eye of clinic supervisor Shinji Tomiyama. Around 50 children, a vibrant mix of local Filipino basketball club
members and Japanese students, hit the court.

The clinic wasn’t just about perfecting handling drills — it was a hands-on lesson in healthy living, emphasizing proper hydration in partnership with Pocari Sweat, fostering deeper connections and a shared love for the sport.

Beyond the court action, the B.League Final Week in Manila is set to continue its mission of championing the power of community with the Pass It Forward program. Attendees are encouraged to bring their used basketball jerseys on Days 3 and 4, contributing to a meaningful cause that will benefit underprivileged kids and spread the joy of basketball even further.

Fans can watch the Finals of Game 1 live on a big screen for free. There will also be a Meet and Greet and an engaging session with Dwight Ramos from Levanga Hokkaido.

On Sunday, the final day wraps up with another exciting Game 2 viewing. Fans are encouraged to cheer for their teams and bond with Kiefer Ravena from Yokohama B-Corsairs during a meet-and-greet session.

The Japan B.League Final Week in Manila 2025 is supported by Cignal, the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Philippines, and Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP).
