The Red Lions of San Beda found an easy prey in Keanzel, ravaging their opponents on Wednesday by displaying their bench depth and resiliency to produce second-chance points en route to a smashing 89-64 win in the National Developmental Sports League under-25 Basketball Series at the Metpark Sports Center.
San Beda generated 59 points from its second unit, which were 42 points more than its counterpart from Keanzel. The Red Lions also came away with 26 second-chance points compared to only five for the Believers.
Rebounding was also a big advantage for San Beda, which collared 52 boards, 18 more than Keanzel’s.
Daniel Marcelo scattered 13 points while Lawrence Hawkins and MJ Vailoces added 10 each for San Beda, which had 13 players producing points to showcase its balance firepower.
San Beda led from start to finish and even posted leads by as much as 26 points, 78-52.
