For the second straight game, St. Clare was able to showcase its prowess on both ends of the court and this time, it’s Manuel Luis Quezon University which was able to experience the Saints’ wrath.
The Saints bullied their way to a 79-70 win over the Stallions to pick up their second straight win in the National Developmental Sports League under-25 Basketball Series at the Metpark Sports Arena on Thursday.
Angelo Ibañez had another solid game, but this time, he got plenty of support from Aljon Loyola. The two combined for 27 points as they teamed up offensively for the Saints, who also drew solid games from Klint Manzano and Lex Gazzingan.
Manzano and Gazzingan tallied 10 points apiece for the Saints, who produced more paints inside the shaded lane with 42 compared to only 26 for the Stallions.
