Smash U-19 avenges elder teammates, scores payback vs San Beda

Seeing its more experienced teammates beaten soundly by San Beda in the under-25 division, the younger Smash team exacted vengeance against the under-19 squad of the Red Cubs, winning 67-58, to bolster its chances in the National Developmental Sports League at the Metpark Sports Arena on Monday.

Khyles Sy and Jin Cacanata combined forces for Smash in turning back San Beda.

Smash took advantage on the absence of Andrei Uggadan, the young phenom, who;’s been dazzling in the Palarong Pambansa.

Without Uggadan, the Red Cubs turned to Bill Gravador who produced 11 points and seven rebounds.
