San Sebastian jumped the gun early on Keanzel and didn’t look back to post an easy 92-53 victory and made it to the winner’s circle on opening day of the National Developmental Sports League Basketball Series under-19 division on Tuesday at the Metpark Arena.
Five players led by Duke Solon finished in double figures as he ended up with 17 points while TJ Lucban added 13 for the Staglets, who scored 47 points from their rivals’ total 30 turnovers.
San Sebastian also unleashed 33 fast break points, 25 more than its counterpart, while also showcasing its bench depth where its shock troopers produced 53 compared to only 30 for Keanzel.
Charles Victoria added 11 markers while SK Dela Cruz and JC Ynot contributed 10 each for San Sebastian.
