Statham crushes Shenzen to end TAT campaign on winning note

A nine-man Statham Academy showed up ready to thwart Shenzen, 115-99, on Sunday’s last day of The Asian Tournament Chengdu, China leg.

Alex Austin was a solid presence all game long, finishing with 32 points and 18 rebounds, and leading five players ending up in double figures for Statham.

Playing coach Taylor Statham poured in 26 points and flirted with a triple-double performance by adding nine rebounds and dishing out seven assists.

Drin David added 22 points, Cole Micek contributed 20 markers and Damion Hooks chipped in 13 for Staham.
