Thunder march way back to WCF, outplay Nuggets in Game 7

In the end, it was the Oklahoma Thunder’s stifling defense which proved to be the difference in deciding which team will make it to the Western Conference Finals.

The Thunder forced the Denver Nuggets to commit 22 turnovers and Oklahoma capitalized using their scrappy players to finish the job done on their way to a 125-93 win in Game 7 and secure a seat back to the championship round of the Western Division Monday at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander came away with an MVP-type game, producing 35 points to go along with four assists and three steals as he powered the Thunder back to where it belong.

Jalen Williams added 24 points and seven assists, while Chet Holmgren had a double-double performance of 13 points and 11 boards. Alex Caruso came off the bench and added 11 points and Isaiah Hartenstein contributed 10 for the Thunder, who will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on May 21st for the start of their Western Conference best-of-seven finals series.
