Defense worked like clockwork early for the Oklahoma Thunder, who held the Denver Nuggets to only eight points in the first quarter, but the visiting squad ended strong, outscoring the home team, 29-18, to pull off a tough 92-87 win on the road and level their Western Conference Semifinals series at 2-2 apiece.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 25 points on top of six assists and two steals, but Jalen Williams, who struggled big time offensively, hitting only two of 13 attempts, scored the insurance free throws to seal the win for the Thunder.
Williams had a perfect 6-of-6 shooting though, from the foul throw area.
Cason Wallace and Aaron Wiggins each produced 11 markers while Williams and Alex Caruso produced 10 apiece.
The Thunder and the Nuggets combined for a record-tying low 25 points, the lowest produced by two teams since Detroit and Toronto combined for 25 on April 21, 2002.
