Unstoppable Peralta catches fire, leads Passi to 2nd TAT win

Rey Anthony Peralta was like a ticking timebomb waiting to explode and he did erupt on Tuesday’s game of home team Passi, which blasted Guangzhoul Loong Lions, 100-82, in The Asian Tournament at the City of Passi Arena in Iloilo.

Peralta caught fire and finished with a game-high 39 points, including nine three-point shots to make an early reputation as one of the league’s deadliest gunners.

Only Peralta and Lass Coulibaly wound up in double figures for the Titans, who picked up their second straight win and served notice of their titles aspirations.

Coulibaly came away with a double-double performance of 13 points and 15 rebounds to complement Peralta’s hot-shooting night.

The Titans outscored their rivals, 27-17, in the third period as the host team turned a once tight encounter into a rout.
